Speed Theory Cycling Club presents...

The Jason Lapierre
Memorial
Cycling Race
2008
The Jason Lapierre Memorial Cycling Dual-Stage ITT Omnium was held for the very first time on July 12, 2008. A sincere thank you to Trev Williams of Speed Theory for the countless hours of planning it took to direct and co-ordinate this unique event in honour of Jason's memory. Thank you also to Rob Wooley and the ABA for handling the timing tasks, to Alex Shaw for handling the safety and MD approval tasks and to all the members of Calgary's Speed Theory Cycling Club who volunteered their time to assist.
And what an event it was!
- morning 25km ITT
- afternoon 11km ITT
- timed 'Killer Kilometer' hill climb
- cash prizes
- proceeds put towards Jason Lapierre Scholarship Fund at U of Calgary
